Quizzena (“the app”) is operated by Plutus 369 LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@oralie.us.
When you first set up Quizzena, we ask for:
Photos never leave your device. Any profile or background image you choose is stored only in the app’s local storage on your phone. We do not upload, receive, or store your images on our servers.
Later, in Settings, you may optionally:
We do not ask for your real name, date of birth, phone number, address, or location. Quizzena does not request access to your device’s location, contacts, camera, or microphone. If you choose a profile or background image, your device’s own photo picker handles the selection, and the image stays on your device.
While you play, the app records gameplay information and stores it with your account:
The app also creates an anonymous account identifier when you first open it. This is a random ID generated by Google Firebase. It is not linked to your name or to any advertising identifier, and it is tied to the device you set the app up on.
We use the information above only to:
On your device. Your profile, settings, gameplay statistics, and any photos you choose are stored locally on your device so the app works offline.
On Google Firebase. Quizzena uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to store and sync your account. The following is transmitted to Firebase and stored under your anonymous account identifier:
If you choose to link an email address, your email address and its verification status are held in Firebase Authentication, which manages sign-in. They are not part of the gameplay record described above, which is stored in Cloud Firestore.
Your photos are not included and are never sent to Firebase.
Firebase is operated by Google. Data is processed on Google’s servers, which may be located outside your country. Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Firebase privacy and security terms.
Android backup. If Android’s backup feature is enabled on your device, your app data — including any photo stored locally — may be copied to your own Google Drive account as part of your device backup. This lets you restore your progress on a new device. That backup belongs to you and is not accessible to us.
The app loads certain resources from third parties. These services may receive your IP address and browser information as a normal part of serving those files:
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Firebase | Account and database |
| Google Fonts | App typefaces |
| jsDelivr | Charting library |
| cdnjs (Cloudflare) | Animation library |
We do not send your personal information to any of these services except Firebase, as described in Section 5.
Deleting your data. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app, in Settings → Delete my data. This removes your account data from this device and your record from our servers, and deletes your account. Non-personal app preferences — such as language, sound, and visual effect settings — remain on your device until you uninstall the app.
If any part of the server-side deletion cannot be completed — for example because you are offline, or because Firebase requires you to sign in again first — the app will tell you so. In that case, email support@oralie.us and we will complete the deletion for you.
You may also request deletion at any time by emailing support@oralie.us, and we will delete your data within 30 days. Full details are on our account deletion page.
Removing a photo. You can remove your profile or background image at any time in Edit Profile.
Uninstalling. Removing the app deletes the data stored on your device. If you also want your account data removed from our servers, use the in-app deletion option or contact us before uninstalling.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or export it. Contact us at support@oralie.us and we will help.
Quizzena is a general-knowledge quiz game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@oralie.us and we will delete it.
We use Google Firebase’s security rules to restrict access to your account data so that only your account can read or write it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
